Our client, a Canadian investment bank is now looking for a Team Assistant to join their team. This is a 12 months contract with possibility of conversion.

The Team Assistant is responsible for providing a high level of support to the department, completing word/information assignments, maintaining various programs initiated by the department and projecting a favourable image for the Organization in all interactions. This position reports directly to the Director, Marketing & Regional Business Development Asia-Pacific.

Scope:

• Overseeing and supporting all administrative duties in the office and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
• Coordinating travel arrangements in a way that meets the travel policy and requirements.
• Scheduling and coordinating with internal and external parties on visits and presentations.
• Completing assignments accurately and confidentially within the required deadlines and conducting appropriate follow-up.
• Processing expense reports and managing reconciliation.
• Effectively communicating with other employees and fostering strong teamwork among peers.
• Responding to ad-hoc requests for information promptly and accurately.
• Keeping local & functional apprised of all relevant risk management, operational, and controls issues.
• Analyzing and executing cost effectiveness internally.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 yrs of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
