This role is responsible for managing the fixed assets function in the Finance division.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate recording of fixed assets, including additions, transfers, disposals/retirements and construction in progress.
Ensure assets are capitalised in accordance with SIT accounting policies and compliance with the Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
Perform fixed assets reconciliations and depreciation computation.
Assist in fixed asset analysis or reporting.
Coordinate/perform the yearly asset sighting exercise.
Provide advisory to user Divisions on fixed assets processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies.
Liaise with internal and external auditors.
Carry out any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or related discipline
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial operations, preferably with working experience in Fixed Assets function
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP System
Meticulous with a keen eye for details
Good interpersonal and communication skills
A highly motivated and independent individual
A good team player
