Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management

Plan, manage, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Maintain a master schedule for all equipment, systems, and facility maintenance or replacement activities. Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper upkeep, safety, and operational efficiency of all building systems. Develop and implement equipment and facility upgrade plans aligned with operational and business needs. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies to minimize operational disruptions. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and government agencies on all maintenance-related matters, including licenses and renewals for critical systems. Supervise and verify contractor work to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and safety standards. Prepare, review, and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value in procurement and operations. Identify opportunities for cost savings through energy conservation and other efficiency initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager.

People Management

Lead, supervise, and motivate the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence and service quality. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure continuous professional growth and succession readiness. Uphold high standards of work ethics, professionalism, and safety across the team. Conduct onboarding, training, and cross-training programs to enhance team capabilities. Oversee staff performance management, ensuring accurate documentation and fair evaluation. Plan and manage manpower allocation to meet operational needs effectively. Collaborate with management to identify and implement operational improvements for greater efficiency and productivity.

Fire Safety Management

Develop, implement, and review fire emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct routine fire safety inspections and rectify potential hazards. Oversee the maintenance and testing of fire protection systems and equipment. Promote fire safety awareness among staff, tenants, and visitors through training and briefings. Plan and conduct fire drills and evacuation exercises to ensure preparedness. Supervise operations within the Fire Command Centre during emergencies. Submit annual fire safety reports and ensure full compliance with regulations set by SCDF and MOM.

Requirements

Minimum

10 years of relevant experience

, including at least

5 years in a managerial role

.

Degree in Estate Management, Building, or a related discipline

.

Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM)

registered with SCDF is an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strategic thinker with a customer-oriented mindset and attention to detail. Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across all organizational levels. Adaptive, decisive, and results-driven leader with a track record of motivating high-performing teams
