Firmware Design Engineer [training Provided]
Job Description
Design
- Create firmware functional specifications by understanding product and system requirements
- Create high level and detail firmware design specifications for product
- Develop codes for product firmware, module firmware test and inspection firmware
- Conduct design review and code review to obtain design approvals
- Analyze, debug and fix firmware bugs with emulator, reference board and prototype board
- Create documentations for design know-how, procedures & development process output
- Study and apply design methodology, processes, procedure & tools defined by team
- Conduct continuous improvement to increase design productivity
- Coach and guide juniors on design and test related tasksOthers
- Support to research, benchmark, get approval to purchase tools
- Support to prepare drawings for product prototype and mass production
- Any other ad hoc duties assignedRequirements- Proficient in C,C++ programming
- Knowledge of embedded electronics fundamentals
- Good analytical, interpersonal skills
- Good leadership qualities (take initiative and have ownership)
- Able to work independently within tight schedule with positive disposition
- Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Office (Words, Excel & Powerpoint)
