These include lease management, facilities management, as well as security and general service matters.Engineering and Technology (E&T) is responsible for overseeing the critical facilities management, smart building technologies and engineering design excellences of the firm's properties.E&T plays a key role in making the firm's properties more energy efficient, sustainable, cost effective to operate, achieve good ergonomic and user-friendly experience. We pride ourselves on our exemplary track record of designing innovative sustainable mechanical and electrical solutions that minimize the use of resources, future proof the building operation with Smart Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to upkeep and improve those objectives including operation resiliency and delivery productivity.Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Data Centre Lead who is experienced in the consultancy, design and construction of Mission Critical Facilities to become part of our Engineering & Technology team. The successful candidate will collaborate with all key stakeholders with strong leadership skills and a strong background in all aspects of Data Centre systems. A thorough understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, DC automation system, IP networking and security protocol is essential. This person shall be detail oriented, possess strong organizational skills and be a self-starter that can excel with little guidance.Key Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policies in clear concise work statement for the assigned project.
• Responsible for regional overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.
• Maintain all logs required to track the progress of the project.
• Maintain liaison with internal stakeholders and operation teams to facilitate construction activities.
• Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite project teams to ensure project is being built on schedule, quality and within budgets.
• Investigate any potentially serious situation and implement corrective measures in accordance with local authorities and company guidelines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and represent UOB in meetings with both internal and external parties (i.e Internal BUs, Consultants, subcontractors, etc).
• Prepare regional monthly site progress and costing reports for management update.
• Manage project contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, expenses)
• Prepare CAPEX forecast, budgeting and cashflow for management approval.
• Track ETA delivery of major equipment and services from Telco/Data Centres, Public Cloud Providers and ICT Principles/Distributors.
• Serve as an escalation point for any service impacted incident and help with ad-hoc requests to provide optimal user experience to BUs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree of Electrical/ Civil / Mechanical Engineering discipline with a minimum 10 years of relevant Data Center/ mission critical facilities experiences.
• Experience in managing major construction and MEP Integrated System Test activities in LIVE Data Center is preferred.
• Experience in managing regional Greenfield and Brownfield Data Centers or mission critical projects greater than S$ 50M.
• Possesses design and operational management experiences would be an advantage.
• Occasional travel required
