We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.Group Wholesale Banking and Market Operations provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.Job Responsibilities

• Lead and provide guidance to a team of 4-5 members to review LC/SBLC issuance & other Structured Trade Finance products.
• Ensure financing requests are within approved structures & propose solutions to mitigate risk at transaction level
• Review and approve transactions as per delegation of authority
• Depending on Business needs, you might be required to hold key account to review terms of LC/SBLC, contract & other documents to ensure deal can be self-liquidated
• Perform reasonable price checks, vessel checks & mark-to-market.
• Ensure sufficient collaterals and margins are in place and liaise with customer for top-up
• Adhere to Bank\'s Policies, guidelines, regulatory, AML/CFT procedures, Industry Best Practices and ensure team compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate service delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreement.
• Assist the Division head on review of any documentation &/or recommend enhancements to existing procedures for the improvement of workflows
• Assist the Division Head on Internal/External Audits, Compliance/Assurance Review & monthly reports/reviews
• Annual Systems Access review, Budgeting as well as Resources planning

Job Requirements

• At least 10 - 12 years of trade operations and middle office experience. Familiar with banking regulations and AML/CFT policies.
• Experience as Team lead or in a leadership role.
• Sound knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URC URR, ISP, URDG, MAS/ABS Guidelines and experience in all areas of international trade
• Trade product knowledge
• Proficient in excel & macro, tech savvy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous and strong follow-up skills
• Able to work proactively with business and operations to ensure smooth processing of deal
• A person with Project management skills will be an advantage
