About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT to analyse, elicit and review business requirements
• Participate and contribute to technical solutioning and architecture reviews with architecture team
• Define functional and non-functional requirements and perform impact analysis assessment with the vendor
• Perform detailed estimation of projects and change requests
• Facilitate communication between vendor, project team, business stakeholders and internal IT team
• Conduct FDS review / Write and review user stories with Functional Business Analyst and Business Unit for sign-off
• Review interface design specifications created by development team
• Review test strategy and functional test cases created by testing team
• Support project and delivery team all throughout the project implementation
• Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope creep

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain
• At least 12 years of technology experience with at least 4 years hands-on technical roles in the field and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications.
• Technical experience with systems networking, databases, Web development, and user support.
• Good background in data technologies including streaming, real-time analytics, real-time events processing, decisioning and offer management
• Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, MS-Visio, MS-Excel and MS-Project.
• Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
• Good business domain knowledge in Loans Origination systems, Business or Credit rules management is a plus
• Good knowledge in financial services policies, procedures, products and industry practices preferred
• Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery
• Highly effective communicating with technical and business stakeholders
• Good problem solving, analytical and solutioning skills
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor management skills
• Self-motivating and good track record in leading and developing team to meet common goals
