Job Description
The VFX Artist is responsible for the design and implementation of visual effects. He/She brainstorms and conceptualises fresh new ideas to translate into innovative content. He/She collaborates with the creative design and marketing teams to develop compelling and engaging visual effects. He/She stays up-to-date with the latest trends in visual effects design to maintain innovation and freshness. He/She explores and tests new trends in multimedia storytelling. He/She gathers feedback frequently and leverages on it to improve the design quality of visual effects. ~ Create and optimise visual effects for TVC and feature films
~ Create fully optimized and hyper realistic visual effects for a wide range of system requirements.
~ Create visual effects for TV, film and video.
~ Develop technical art solutions for TV, film and video.
~ Follow concept art, story boards, written descriptions and scripts to implement visual effects.
~ Mentor team members on best practices for visual effects, compositing and atmospherics.
~ Troubleshoot and resolve visual effects issues.
~ Work successfully in a large team of artists, programmers and designers with managerial experience.
~ Work with all disciplines to reinforce the user experience with visual effects.
