Flavour Creation Laboratory Supervisor

Flavour Creation Laboratory Supervisor oversees the entire compounding process within flavour laboratory, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The Supervisor manages a team of compounders, coordinate workflows, maintain inventory, and contribute to the development of new flavour formulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management


Overseeing the work of compounding technicians, ensuring proper training, and potentially handling performance evaluations.





Quality Control:


Implementing and maintaining quality control measures throughout the compounding process, ensuring that all products meet established standards.





Inventory Management:


Monitoring and managing raw material and consumable inventory, ensuring adequate supplies for compounding and coordinating the replenishment of materials.





Monitoring maintenance and service agreement.





Safety Compliance:


Ensuring that all compounding activities are conducted in accordance with relevant safety regulations and company guidelines.





Documentation and Record Keeping:


Maintaining accurate records of compounding outputs, inventory levels, and other relevant data.





Workflow Coordination:


Ensuring smooth and efficient workflow within the lab, optimizing the process of sample preparation and prototype development.





Collaboration:


Working closely with flavourists, application labs, and other relevant teams to support the development and production of new flavours.





Oversee the packing, shipping and documentation of trial formulas and commercial samples.





Problem Solving:


Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the compounding process, ensuring timely and effective solutions.





Any other activities assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements

Diploma in related field


Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience


Meticulous with an eye for accuracy


Initiative, independent and posses good team spirit


Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Leadership skills and ability to impart knowledge


Possess good laboratory practices
