(Mechanical) Candidates are expected to:-
Carry out repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery onboard PSA Marine harbour crafts
Liaise with Fleet Operations team on breakdown reports and harbour crafts status
Perform lathe machining, basic gas welding, and cutting works to facilitate repair to machinery
Assist in lifting activities, forklift operation, confined space assessment
Perform proper disposal of used oils and chemicals
(Electrical) Candidates are expected to:-
Carry out repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery onboard PSA Marine harbour crafts
Liaise with Fleet Operations team on breakdown reports and harbour crafts status
Troubleshoot and carry out thorough rectification of deficiencies in machinery and control system
Perform wiring and connection of electrical cables
Install electrical and electronic accessories and components
Job Requirement
The ideal candidate should preferably:-
Possess at least a Nitec in Marine Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Possess a valid Class 3 driving license and MOM accredited certifications such as SSIC, Safety Supervisor, Lifting Supervisor, Forklift Driving
For Mechanical candidates
: Prior experience in performing mechanical fitment, basic gas and TIG welding, hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting will be considered favourably
For Electrical candidates
: Good knowledge of electrical and instrument systems and familiar with electrical schematics diagrams and symbols will be considered favourably
Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for a senior position
Monthly salary as advertised is basic salary.
