Role Responsibilities
Background

  • Provides Risks, Valuations and Analytics L3 support to Traders, Risk Managers and Product Controllers on SABRE (Standard Chartered Analytics Booking and Risk Engine) - the bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategic Risk and Valuations platform for Financial Markets, Treasury Markets and Private Banking.

  • You will join as a Financial Markets Risks and Valuations Support Expert and be part of our T&I team of experts in Singapore. Working directly with Traders, Risk Managers and Product Controllers in Financial Markets, this role will develop your knowledge of FM Products and Analytics and build your investigation and problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity to hone your skills on a cutting edge, big data, Cloud enabled risk platform and learn alongside experts in the field. This is a level 3 (functional / expertise) support role.
Key responsibilities are outlined below
  • We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about Financial Markets, Technology and customer experience, and we value specialized expertise.
  • 3+ years\' experience in Financial Markets or FM IT, in a financial institution or a leading risk management software company.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of options & derivatives modelling in at least one asset class (FX, Commodities / Rates / Credit / Equities).
  • Passionate for solving challenging problems and learning new skills. Hands-on, knowledge of SQL and scripting languages is preferred.
Skills & Traits
  • Customer support-oriented mindset, able to work and deliver under pressure in a competitive Financial Markets environment.
  • Strong academic foundation in mathematics / financial mathematics, statistics, finance or computer science. MSc or PhD preferred.
Key relationships
  • FM users: Traders, Market Risk, Finance, Middle Office, Operations.
  • Technology: Level 1&2 support teams Development leads, developers, testers, project managers.

  • Options and Derivatives Risk & Pricing (quantitative analysis, modelling, curves)
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Financial Markets, working with Traders, Risk Managers, Finance
  • Data Analysis (Scripting, SQL, python)
  • Degree educated in Financial Mathematics, Mathematics or Statistics
