Wheathead is a small-batch bakery with a focus on quality baked goods and seasonal produce. We put out pastries, sandwiches, pies, as well as soups and salads when we can. There's a lot to be done in this tiny bakery, and many ideas that we'd like to realise. We love what we do and are seeking like-minded individuals to join our (very) small team!





We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Front-of-House Manager. This is a 5-day, 45 hour per week, full-time role.





The ideal candidate should:


Have 1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial position in a F&B setting. Be comfortable working in a start-up environment. We are very small and have our hands dipped in multiple areas of the business most of the time. Be able to work independently and work well in a team. Have strong work ethic - we value punctuality, diligence, willingness to learn and adapt. Extra points for having the intiative to go the extra mile. Possess strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Possess effective management skills including the capability to lead, motivate and manage subordinates. Be willing to commit to this role for 1 year minimally.
Your responsibilites include (but are not limited to):


Overseeing operations with focus on product knowledge, staff training and customer satisfaction Making constructive suggestions in streamlining operational processes to ensure a smooth workflow Training and supervising the FOH team Enforcing and ensuring compliance to the Company's SOPs, governmental regulations, food safety & hygiene standards and quality control within the store Being on top of opening and closing balances, daily sales reports and transactions Inventory management and planning of FOH stock General housekeeping and ensuring a pleasant store environment Attending to guests' requests and handle complaints tactfully when required
