Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Food Application Manager will focus on innovation and product application across confectionary, beverage and bakery categories to support new product development initiatives to help move ingredients from concept to commercialization. You will collaborate with other technical and business teams including marketing, sensory and commercial teams to find innovative ways to use ingredients that meets specific customer needs.

This position will be based at the Neuros Lab at Buona Vista, Singapore.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with key customers and business partners to identify and deliver on dedicated project opportunities.
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Partner with marketing and sales to meet customer needs and make technical presentations to customers including developing product launch campaigns
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Run product demonstrations and serve as the expert during these meetings.
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Report data to product development teams and monitor scientific reports or datasheets detailing the organization\'s products and their applications.
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Responsible as key contact person for the lab and oversees equipment and SOP maintenance
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ingredient functionality and its effects on sensory attributes and overall product acceptability
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Advanced techniques in product application following current trends and developments
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Some experience working in confectionary, bakery and beverage food science formulation
