Our client is a foreign wholesale bank with a growing franchise in Singapore and in the region. They are looking to add to their team of credit approvers in Singapore. The key responsibilities include, amongst others, the following :-
Provide inputs to front office units relating to deal structures to avoid "surprises"
Review credit proposals prepared by the RMs in the Corporate and Commercial Banking teams
Approve credit proposals within delegated approving limit assigned or provide recommendations to the higher approving authority where appropriate
Ongoing monitoring of market developments to assess impact on lending portfolio
Requirements
A recognised university degree, ideally in accounting, banking, finance or economics
About 15 years of credit experience in Corporate and / or Commercial Banking in the capacity of a credit approver / credit analyst / relationship manager
Excellent writing and financial analytical skills
