Role Overview: As a Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers our web 3 trading platform. We are looking for a passionate hacker by nature, someone who thrives on challenges, has a knack for rapid prototyping, and is comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using Rust programming language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to the overall architecture of our web 3 trading platform.
• Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of user data.
• Optimize and fine-tune existing systems for maximum performance and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in web 3 technologies and integrate relevant advancements into our systems.
• Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Strong proficiency in Rust programming language or C++ and willingness to work in Rust
• Proven experience working on trading systems or financial technology projects.
• In-depth knowledge of web 3 technologies, protocols, and smart contract development.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly prototype and iterate on ideas.
• Experience with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols is a plus.
• Passion for hacking and a portfolio of personal projects showcasing your skills.

• Bachelor\'s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
