Job Description
Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing and driving continuous improvement in systems and procedures.
- Aligns budget to business strategies and gains alignment from business partners.
- Highlight and understand major forecast assumptions/deviations from actual and their effects on financial outlook
- Positively influence the performance, engagement and collaboration of the wider organization.
- Creates financial models and scenarios as a key input for business planning decisions in areas such as capital deployment, sourcing, product development, marketing strategies, and acquisitions.
- Provide financial consulting and strategic support to management
- Review and prepare business finance performance
- Manages annual budget processes, incorporating business initiatives, economic trends and operational effectiveness.
- To do the above, work with various stakeholders to gain understanding, affirm or challenge assumptions
- Work together with central finance teams to maintain alignment between FP&A & central finance reporting structures
Requirements
- Bachelor in Accountancy
- CPA Australia or Chartered Accountant qualification is an added advantage
- 5 - 8 years of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or commercial finance role in a MNC environment
