Hold relevant accountancy professional certifications, (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) or on the pathway to certification.
4 to 7 years of experience in FP&A, business partnering or similar positions.
Have demonstrated industry experience working for a large international company.
Experience working in a management accounts/ project accounts position in the consulting industry is preferred but not essential.
Ability to produce relevant, value-adding management information to support the decision-making process of senior-level management.
Stakeholder Management, ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, executives, and non-finance teams.
Highly proficient in the MS Suite.
Mott MacDonald\'s Finance team across the Asia region provide a trusted front line financial support service. As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients, we are looking for a FP&A Analyst to join us in our Singapore office.
Working within a tight knit Finance team committed to the Asia business unit, with links into our wider APAC regional finance team, this newly created opportunity will see you reporting into the Regional Finance Manager and taking on areas of the reporting & analysis and business partnering responsibilities.
About You
We are looking for an experienced FP&A Analyst to take ownership on the timely preparation of accurate monthly divisional report and analysis, and present observation and trends to Country and Regional leaders. You will be responsible for detailed reviews of Regional Profit & Loss including WIP, business performance, forecast and budgeting.
Business Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations for action.
Your stakeholder management skills will come into play with both internal stakeholders when supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast & business review processes, as well as internal and external auditors.
Part of your role will include training and supporting assigned business sector leaders and their wider teams to meet key requirements for financial aspects of the business. You will be a key member of our Asia, and wider APAC finance teams, and working together to deliver management accounting deadlines. Rolling up your sleeves when required, is an important attitude to have.
