Job Summary:
As a L'Oreal Fragrance Consultant, you will be an ambassador for our renowned portfolio of luxury fragrances. You will be responsible for creating an exceptional and personalized shopping experience for every client, guiding them through our exquisite scent collections, and helping them discover their perfect fragrance. Your expertise, passion, and engaging sales approach will drive sales, build lasting customer relationships, and uphold the prestigious image of L'Oreal's fragrance brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Sales:

  • Proactively approach and engage with customers on the selling floor, offering assistance and personalized recommendations.
  • Conduct in-depth fragrance consultations, identifying customer preferences, lifestyles, and occasions to suggest suitable scents.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Introduce and educate clients on new product launches, promotions, and brand stories.
  • Cross-sell and upsell other beauty categories where appropriate, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Product Expertise:
  • Maintain an expert-level knowledge of all L'Oreal fragrance brands, including their history, ingredients, scent notes (top, middle, base), inspiration, and unique selling propositions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and the art of perfumery.
  • Educate customers on fragrance application techniques, longevity, and layering.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service, follow-up calls/emails, and personalized communication.
  • Capture customer data for clienteling purposes (with customer consent) to offer tailored recommendations and event invitations.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Merchandising & Operations:
  • Ensure the fragrance counter is immaculately presented, clean, and well-stocked according to L'Oreal visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, communicate stock needs, and assist with stock deliveries and replenishment.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve store objectives and foster a positive working environment.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge updates.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum SPM / GCE N Level
  • Proven retail sales experience, preferably in luxury beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, or fashion.
  • A genuine passion for fragrances and the beauty industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (e.g., stock replenishment).
