Bloomberg LP has built a significant media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is the indispensable source of information for the world\'s most influential business leaders.

The role:
Bloomberg Asia TV is seeking a freelance segment producer to complement our team in Hong Kong or Singapore, on a temporary and flexible basis which would result in about a week of full-time work a month. This individual will work with the interviews team to research, organize and produce editorially relevant guest conversations as part of our daily programming. The role entails pitching segment ideas, developing relationships with external guests, building interview segments, and organizing necessary graphics & video that contribute to the output. The segment producer must be able to communicate effectively to give guidance and direction to anchors, reporters and other staff, as well as have relationship-building people skills. The ideal candidate will show excellent news judgement to produce quality broadcasts and have knowledge of business news and financial markets. Skill in an Asian language would be an advantage, but not essential.

You will need to have:

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong English writing and excellent communication skills
• Experience booking and/or producing for live TV
• Knowledge of business news and the financial markets
• Familiarity with digital media platforms and integration
• Project ownership and problem solving skills, with the ability to work under deadline pressure
• Flexibility with hours and early morning start times
• Asian language skills desirable to cater to local audience in APAC region
