Job Description

On behalf of one of its clients, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Cook Chef.

He will ensure that a higher standard of dining experience is provided to clients and customers.

Main responsabilities :

• Prepare and cook full course meals and individual dishes and foods

• Plan menus, ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions

• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

• Continuous menu creation / improvements, incorporating feedbacks, suggestions, and comments from patrons

• Ensure consistency and quality of continental food preparation +, hygiene and safety of workplace at all times, and inspect kitchens and food service areas

• Ensure proper management and planning for resources to support business growth and generate revenue through food and beverages sales and managing cost

• Estimate food requirements and costs and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

• Manage and maintain good customer-staff relationship

• Manage kitchen brigade effectivity to ensure good organized and fair and rewarding working environment for all

• Be part of service crew during the service hours to serve the continental food during the lunch hours from counter/kitchen.

• Minimum degree from culinary school

• Must have a vast knowledge of continental food- French/Italian cuisine.

• Have experience working in corporate dining settings/Restaurants

• French speaking is a plus to liaise with the french customers

• Able to work independently

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast phased environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key

• Proactive and outgoing personality

• Strong customer service management
