What you will do: The system test team is looking for an ambitious engineer that supports on verification and validation activities on various products of our wide portfolio. You will put hands on firmware or whole software releases, single devices or complex machine architectures and cre ate or perform manual test cases or automated system architecture tests. In your daily business you will work closely together with colleagues from several disciplines and ensure that we deliver high quality products. Furthermore, you will have the chance to give your footprint during the ongoing development of an automated test system for our continuous functional verification and validation. As a confident and enthusiastic part of our diverse team you are not on your own but have cooperative colleagues that support you. We offer you the chance to work autonomously on challenging tasks in a global company with future perspectives.

Your working environment:

• Develop and program automated test applications that focus on the usability, reliability, performance, and interfaces.
• Usage of programming languages of the IEC 61131-3 and/or CODESYS based software environment
• Participate in the creation of an automated test concept that is based on TestComplete or Jenkins
• Insight into the Schneider Electric product range of the industrial automation & control offer for complex automation machines
• Work within a passionate, motivated, and multi-cultural team

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Driven by innovation, willing to learn and open minded to alternative solutions
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility, willingness, and the ability to act independently and on your own responsibility
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Programming experience (C#, python, IEC 61131-3, CODESYS)
• Knowledge about verification or validation
• Experience with Jenkins, TestComplete, or Jira
• Knowledge about automation systems would be an advantage, especially Schneider Electric products
