The Engineering and Technology team is at the core of the Shopee platform development. We have two primary responsibilities.Firstly, we build the front end for Shopee's cloud-native solutions and DevOps systems, developing user-friendly tools that boost productivity for thousands of business developers and SREs. These are vital internal systems that influence every developer's daily operations. Secondly, we construct an end-to-end, AI-powered site-building solution offering a next-generation development experience. This solution plays a key role in our internal engineering portals and business applications.

Currently, we're seeking future engineers who will:Take ownership of various Infra product features. Provide constructive feedback on product requirements and complete tasks on schedule. Take efforts to enhance user experiences and contribute to our team's technical excellence. Write clean, maintainable code and conduct in-depth, honest code reviews. Engage in various internal technical projects and offer technical sharing sessions.

Requirements:

You should have a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and networks, as well as web frontend basics like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Browsers. You should also comprehend dev efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

Have a basic understanding of cloud-based infrastructure. Experience in React, TypeScript, Node.js, or expertise in certain frontend areas. Experience in software engineering, preferably field experience on workflow, productivity improvements, or developer tools. Previous experience in low-code or components areas is a plus. * A good understanding of user value and strong communication skills or leadership capability are also highly valued.
