Their high profile Asia-Pacific practice sees its lawyers regularly called upon to advise government bodies, investment banks, securities houses, exchanges, trading and settlements systems and other market participants in the financial services industry. Due to increased demand our client is looking to secure the services of an ambitious regulatory associate capable of taking a pivotal position with their team Singapore group. Ideally applicants will be admitted to the Singapore Bar and have c4-6yrs+ practical experience when it comes to providing clients with ongoing regulatory advice, establishing new market participants, obtaining authorisations and advising on all necessary legal and compliance steps. Knowledge with respect complex cross-border regulatory investigations and enforcement cases would be beneficial while its lawyers also advise on the management of conflicts of interest, global marketing and selling restrictions and drafting and negotiating distribution agreements. The scope and responsibility of this position is absolutely tremendous and will see the incumbent take a prominent position every aspect of the practice \xe2\x80\x93 from technically advising clients throughout the entire life cycle of an instruction through to team management and delegation, business development & relationship management and training. This is as far removed from a back room position as you can get and will require not only a superb technical skill set but gravitas, confidence and significant dedication to clients. Equally comfortable on contentious matters as non-contentious this is an opportunity that can and will offer significant career progression going forward in addition to a superb financial package.
