Responsible for the plan approval process, ensuring all project drawings are updated and properly documented
Lead and manage the appointed team of hull, coating, piping, mechanical, electrical, and outfitting supervisors, and stock controller, cost controller, MC manager, Commissioning manager, and site administrator
Assist in the selection and recruitment of the site supervisors
Confirm the competency of the team of supervisors and ensure that they have all equipment and information available to them in order to perform their work
Take part in inspections and witness testing and be fully aware of the status of all ships under construction in terms of their compliance with the contract and approved plans
Report regularly, formally and informally, to the Project Manager any deviations from the contract or approved plans and to report any issues that may affect the delivery or finished standard, including certification of the ships
Be the main point of contact for all issues related to the construction of the vessels and liaise with representatives of appropriate shipyard departments and Classification Societies to discuss problems and recommend remedial action where standards are in question or where defects have been identified
Take part in Sea Trials as directed by the Project Manager
On delivery of a ship, formally confirm to the Project Manager that the ship is in compliance or otherwise with the requirements of the contract and approved plans and specifications
Maintain clear and comprehensive records of all tests and inspections on a centralized database in accordance with the project document management procedures
Develop and maintain a relationship of cooperation and mutual respect with the Shipyard representatives
Conduct an effective Management of Change process including comprehensive hand over notes to ensure continuity and full visibility of role prior to any period of leave or extended period of absence from the Site Team
Manage direct reports as directed by the Project Manager
Conduct regular team meetings to track and manage the newbuilding progress and make necessary contact with Shipyard liaison to ensure overall project schedule is met
Manage Variation Orders (VO) issued and prepare explanation for cost approval by Owner
Deployment of manpower to attend all FATs and SAT (Site acceptance test)
Manage the yard (pre)commissioning
Produce weekly construction progress updates under the required format for the consumption of the Owners
Work safely and to be intolerant of unsafe acts or conditions. To promote good HSSE behaviors and to stop and report any unsafe acts. Liaise with the shipyard HSSE Superintendent/Inspector and report any unsafe conditions
Manages the assigned site office budgets as required

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years in a role as Site Manager
Site Manager experience on several LNG and FSRU New build and/or Conversion projects
Master\'s Degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering
In deep knowledge and understanding of Regasification Plant and FSRU system operation is essential
Understanding of FSRU safety systems, ESD C&E, Gas and Fire detection, and Firefighting regulations
Familiar with IGC code, SIGTTO procedures, and Class requirements in construction of LNG/FSRU vessels
Experience with Project planning and scheduling, handling budgets, cost control, material logistics, and other ship conversion related activities
Must have proven record of handling project budget and cost control
Experience with setting up and maintaining Highest safety standards for Site team and vendors
Good reporting skills to Senior Management
Must display skills in reading and understanding construction documentation including but not limited to fabrication and installation drawings for structural, piping and mechanical part as well as good understanding of P&IDs
Basic knowledge about ship\xe2\x80\x99s electrical and automation systems
Skilled in use of AutoCAD, Tribon, Rhino and MS office tools
Proficient in English language, minimum C1 level
