They are seeking an
Assistant HR Manager
to take ownership of the
full spectrum of HR functions
and help drive an engaging and high-performing work environment.
Role Overview
End-to-end HR
across recruitment, foreign worker management, payroll, compliance, training, employee engagement, and HR administration. You will partner with the HR Manager and business leaders to ensure smooth operations, enhance employee experience, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Full Spectrum HR Operations
Manage the entire
employee lifecycle
: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, resignations, and offboarding.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Support HR policies, procedures, and smooth daily operations.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management
Coordinate hiring for HQ and site roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
Oversee
foreign worker management
, including quota monitoring and work pass applications.
Collaborate with line managers on manpower planning aligned with project needs.
Payroll, Compliance & Reporting
Liaise with payroll vendors/internal payroll teams to ensure accurate payroll inputs (OT, leave, claims).
Ensure compliance with
MOM regulations
and employment laws.
Prepare HR reports and assist with audits when required.
Training & Development
Coordinate course enrolments and grants (e.g., SSG, e2i) and maintain training records.
Support initiatives to enhance workforce skills and capability.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Act as the go-to person for
employee welfare, engagement, and workplace concerns
.
Plan and execute engagement activities such as staff appreciation events, festive celebrations, team-building, long service awards, CSR, and wellness programs.
Drive a
positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture
.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in
Human Resource Management
or related discipline.
4+ years' HR generalist experience
, ideally in construction or engineering.
Strong understanding of
foreign worker management
and
MOM regulations
.
Hands-on, versatile, and proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
