Roles & Responsibilities Full Stack Software Developer for Ed-Tech Startup

Location: Singapore Starting date: Immediate Job Type: Full-time
Rescale Lab is a B2B platform for managing cohort-based learning programs. We are looking for a Tech Manager, strong with people, thoughtful decision-maker, passionate about building the future of education. If you love building robust software with new features, improve on the current code, and implement UX/UI designs.
You will learn how to identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company's services in partnership with the founders, identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation and assessment of market obstacles and technical hurdles. As part of Technical Strategy, you will be evaluating and identifying appropriate technology platforms (including web application/ mobile application frameworks and the deployment stack. Also, you will be leading strategic plans by identifying and priortising development initiatives and timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all web and app based services.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• 
  Define system specifications based on the understanding of the business needs
• Manage a team of software engineers and communicate to deliver software needs

• Develop, Plan and Design technical product requirements and structure.

• Communicate system requirements to software development teams
• Evaluate, select and implement appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
• Monitor and Assist with solving technical problems when they arise and ensure both user needs and business goals are met
• Experience in building intuitive, consumer-oriented experiences and interfaces for Enterprise software will be required.

• In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development

• Hands on experience with complex project management
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Has Experience with Product Development and building the architecture of the product.

Technical Skills:

• 
  Hands-on design and development experience with Angular 2+ and Node
• Expertise in designing and developing MicroServices on Node.js platforms

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, Docker, Kubernetes or Marathon
• Experience in designing high-performance data pipelines, streaming analytics, data integration
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and related services and features like EC2, S3, autoscaling, load balancing, route53, S3, IAM, Lambda, Athena, etc
• Experience in working with ECS, Fargate & Kubernetes on AWS
• Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or equivalent
• Exposure to DevSecOps and Application Security beneficial
• DBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), including NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Experience in Web Security
