We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Developer Portal team, where you will play a key role in building digital platforms that support whole-of-government (WOG) services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and scale solutions that enhance the developer experience and accelerate digital transformation across agencies.
Responsibilities
A Lead the end-to-end development of features, ensuring efficiency, maintainability, and strong technical choices.
A Partner with UI/UX, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver user-centric solutions.
A Build and enhance web applications across the frontend, backend, and cloud components.
A Contribute to product direction and help shape a new developer console from its foundation.
A Perform thorough code reviews and advocate for robust engineering standards.
A Architect and implement systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and optimized for performance.
A Support deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of product components.
A Share technical expertise, guide team members, and develop internal tools or libraries to accelerate development across teams.



Requirements
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
A Strong experience in software engineering with the ability to work across frontend and backend technologies.
A Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one modern web framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
A Familiar with backend or server-side development; experience with Node.js or TypeScript is an advantage.
A Knowledge of building scalable architectures, multi-tenant systems, or search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Lunr) is beneficial.
A Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor others.
