The Job \xc2\xb7 Maintain cleanliness of the outlet promptly and according to proper sanitation standards \xc2\xb7 Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as serviettes and silverware \xc2\xb7 Attend to guests\xe2\x80\x99 requests in a prompt and professional manner, serve glasses of plain water in the process \xc2\xb7 Advise customers on menu choices and make recommendations \xc2\xb7 Take orders from customers for food or beverages \xc2\xb7 Serve food and beverages to guests in an unobstructing and professional manner \xc2\xb7 Manage reservations and walk-ins \xc2\xb7 Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems \xc2\xb7 Respond to complaints promptly and take appropriate courses of service recovery actions to turn unhappy patrons into return guest \xc2\xb7 Collect payments from customers \xc2\xb7 Clean tables after customers have finished dining Requirements \xc2\xb7 Can converse in simple English \xc2\xb7 Able to read basic menu in English \xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge on taking food orders via technology devices (E.g. tablet) \xc2\xb7 Must be prepared to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays Additional Information \xc2\xb7 Workplace at Fairway Caf\xc3\xa9 (non-halal) at NSRCC Kranji (50 Neo Tiew Lane 3) \xc2\xb7 Staff transport provided at Kranji MRT station \xc2\xb7 5-day work week (Mon to Sun) \xc2\xb7 Rotating Shifts: 6:30am to 3:30pm, 6:45am to 7:45pm, 10:45am to 7:45pm \xc2\xb7 Accommodation not provided \xc2\xb7 Uniform and shift allowance (for 6:30am shift) provided *Other Benefits
