Job Description

• Perform day-to-day fund accounting activities, including NAV calculations, portfolio reconciliations and fund reporting
• Maintain accurate books and records for the firm\'s investment funds
• Oversee and manage all fund activities, including preparing capital calls, tracking distributions, and monitoring regulatory compliance
• Perform relevant financial month-end closing, reconciliations, controls and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting and operational tasks
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for funds in accordance with relevant accounting standards
• Liaise with internal teams and external parties (e.g. administrators, auditors) to ensure seamless fund accounting and reporting processes
• Work with tax advisors to ensure local tax filings are met. This includes but not limited to GST filings, statement of claims, tax incentive applications, annual declarations, corporate income tax filing, tax residency applications etc.
• Foster collaboration with existing team of investment managers on various investment opportunities across multi-asset classes including private equity, real estate, private debt, venture capital, equities and bonds.
• Support the investment team with the onboarding process for new investments
• Provide general administrative and operational support to CEO

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, preferably within the asset management industry
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore financial reporting standards
• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
• Understanding of different asset classes are preferred
• Flexible and adaptable to work in a small office environment
