About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

This role is responsible for driving Wealth Banking and Privilege Banking segment marketing programmes and engagement activities to build client value propositions, support client acquisition targets and AUM growth amongst affluent clients in Singapore and across the region. This role is also responsible for development and delivery of wealth advisory content and communications.

  • Develop marketing strategies and engagement initiatives, ensuring the agreed value propositions are appropriately expressed for the respective segments.
  • The individual will work closely with stakeholders across advisory, sales, customer franchise, product, compliance and legal teams as well as external partners, to provide strategic direction and execute campaigns to help drive client acquisition, deepen client engagement and promote portfolio quality and penetration.
  • Plan and execute world-class client engagement events including market outlook forums (hybrid and face-to-face). He/she will also need to identify key partners and potential partnership opportunities that can deliver exclusive experiences for our affluent clients.
  • Lead the development of thought-leadership content strategy and execute marketing amplification efforts across paid and owned media platforms to deliver timely insights and market information to our clients.
  • As the lead in this function, he/she will be required to provide clear direction and work with creative and social agencies to develop effective assets across the full range of paid and owned channels. He/she will also be expected to have experience and capabilities across traditional and digital marketing, working with the media agency to determine the media mix, target and retarget audiences effectively; and optimise media spends for campaigns.
  • Monitor and track campaign performance and results to aid learnings for future campaigns and for best practice sharing
  • Responsible for managing allocated marketing budgets, including monitoring the marketing effectiveness of spends in driving marketing and business objectives.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Communications/Journalism/Marketing/Economics with at least 10 years of relevant business communications experience in Banking or Finance IndustryExcellent writing & communication skills with experience generating content across multiple formats
  • Good understanding of wealth management products
  • Robust project management skills - prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Possess business acumen, with a keen eye on the competitive landscape and a strong ability to help drive results while adapting to business needs and challenges
