Job Description

Within Markets, the support specialist will be the primary point of contact on the desk for the FX Institutional Sales team to assist with the day-to-day operations of the sales franchise. Such tasks include:

• Assistance with booking & amending trade tickets; including pre-trade, live deal execution, & post-trade processes
• Support with settlement related processes & issues as they arise
• Handling of daily credit checks & managing the appropriate closure alerts
• Co-ordinate the novation process on behalf of Sales
• Assistance with the onboarding of clients to ensure timely completion
• Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Middle Office and Operations in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
• Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent
• Strong understanding of FX products, financial information, operations & controls
• Experience in Middle Office or a Support function and in-depth knowledge of the various systems
• Superior attention to detail and level of accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure in a highly professional, fast paced Front Office environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, experience in working at senior levels
• Ability to coordinate processes and work as part of multiple teams across a global firm
• Knowledge of Citi’s infrastructure is a plus
