Responsibilities
Onboard new customers and optimize existing customer and key partners' relationships in the region to promote sales growth and expand wallet share across the Asia-Pacific region.
Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, referrals, industry events, and professional networks.
Lead sales presentations and client meetings to promote company services, emphasizing value propositions and customized solutions.
Maintain and grow assigned customer portfolios while ensuring profitability targets and regional growth objectives are achieved.
Oversee the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to post-sale support, ensuring a seamless customer experience with AEG.
Coordinate with internal teams on operational and logistics matters including fuel delivery, disputes resolution, and service recovery.
Collaborate closely with pricing, credit, and operations departments to align commercial decisions with company policies and financial objectives.
Monitor and maintain sales transactions, pricing structures, discounts, and taxes within company systems and databases.
Support and oversee the collection process for delinquent accounts, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
Contribute to regional business planning, sales forecasting, and pricing strategy discussions.
Attend industry events and trade shows. Travel to visit customers in-person across Asia Pacific.
Provide regular market intelligence on competitors, customer trends, and emerging opportunities.
Ensure full compliance with sanction and trade compliance policy, internal credit and onboarding procedures, maintaining strong risk awareness.
Enhance the AEG customer experience by managing customized solutions and providing regular communication with customers.
Motivate colleagues to accomplish company goals and exude AEG's core values.
Serve as a role model and ambassador for AEG's Core Values in every aspect of the position.
Requirements:
Aviation Experience Required.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales or account management experience within the aviation, fuel, or related industry.
Strong understanding of aviation fuel markets, pricing mechanisms, and credit approval processes.
Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Identify potential problems, present alternatives, and propose solutions.
Ability to professionally interact with others at all levels across the organization.
Strong external communication skills and ability to engage a variety of people and understand their needs (finance, sales, supply chain, marketing, operations)
Comfortable managing complex client portfolios and multitasking across regions and time zones.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and data reporting tools.
Willing and able to travel frequently on short notice across Asia-Pacific.
Must be flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and international communications across multiple time zones.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment at a growth organization.
