Plan and execute marketing campaigns regularly to drive sales,
Engage clients who are interested in the artworks and follow up on their queries,
Provide all administrative support for sales, including but not limited to preparation of price list, exhibition label, exhibition kit, artwork listings, invoice, agreements, etc,
Maintain an effective database of clients who maybe interested in the works,
Maintain and organise daily schedule and consistently remind about appointments / sales-related activities that need to be addressed,
Work closely with the Gallery Director for all sales, consignments, loans and exhibition-related activities, including arranging client viewings, handling pre- and post-sales activities,
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications; establishing personal networks,
Upkeep the cleanliness and tidiness of the Gallery,
Perform any additional work that is deemed appropriate for the running of the Gallery.
Requirements:
Min. 1-2 years of experience in sales administration job
Diploma or graduate in any Business or administration related courses
Multilingual candidates preferred to liaise with associates and clients
Strong knowledge of the gallery world and of modern and contemporary art
PC Literate: MS Office Applications, Adobe Photoshop
Customer orientated with good interpersonal and communication skills
Resourceful and able to work independently
Highly motivated and able to undertake pressure
Must be extremely well presented, polished, professional and articulate
Must have ability to effectively interact with and gain the confidence of clients, artists and internal staffs
Meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines
Knowledge on inventory control is an advantage
Excellent written as well as verbal communication skills
Solid negotiation skills
Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays
Experience in the auction house or gallery or high-end boutique is advantageous
