Adecco is partnering with a US MNC in the FMCG industry and we are seeking for a Garment Technical Specialist (Apparel) to join their expanding business! As part of their headcount in Singapore, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring product quality meeting the fitting technical requirements.

Job scope:

• Ensure product quality meets the fitting technical requirements
• Strong experience in Cut & Sew Knit/Woven/Denim in terms of fit, garment construction and quality requirements
• Create measurement charts, assess and update technical packages during product development stage
• Evaluate counter samples, fit, PP and TOP samples. Follow up fit comments and ensure samples meets company\'s quality standards
• Work with HQ technical team for samples fitting, workmanship and pre-production samples approval
• Provide technical advice to internal teams on product quality, workmanship, safety requirements, sample execution and fit related issues
• Communicate with vendors to provide technical support with all technical issues
• Organize risk assessments, fit evaluations and PP meetings with related parties

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Clothing/Textile related disciplines
• Experience working in a buying office
• 8~10 years of relevant experience in fitting in all product categories of women\'s/men\'s/kidswear is an advantage
• Confident to do fitting approvals independently
• Well versed in garment construction
• Pattern making, grading and fit adjustment knowledge
• Ability to communicate in Chinese language to liaise with native Chinese speaking counterparts based in Hong Kong
• Willingness to learn, able to adapt in fast-paced environment
• High level of independency to function as a sole contributor in Singapore office
