Job Description

You will serve as the cornerstone of our financial operations--ensuring accurate bookkeeping, robust financial reporting, and data-driven decision making. You will help maintain compliance with Singapore's financial regulations while contributing valuable insights that shape our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Accounting

Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable, payment schedules, and outstanding collections. Record and reconcile daily bank and credit-card transactions to maintain accurate financial records. Monitor and document cash flow to support financial transparency and control.

Month-End Close & Reporting

Prepare journal entries and support the month-end closing process. Reconcile bank statements, balance-sheet accounts, and credit-card transactions. Provide timely, accurate financial reports for management's review and decision-making.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

Prepare and submit tax filings (GST, income tax, etc.) in line with Singapore legislation. Ensure financial statements align with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) framework and audit requirements. Default+2RSM Singapore+2

Process & Systems Improvement

Evaluate and refine accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Leverage digital tools and automation (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP ERP, Oracle Financials) to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. Sound understanding of Singapore FRS, GST and general accounting standards. Practical experience working with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP or Oracle. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to clean financial data.
