The Global Citizen Academy is The Global Citizen Education Group's flagship enrichment arm, which offers a suite of enrichment programs in the areas of public speaking, global citizenship, leadership, debate, Model United Nations amongst others.


Since 2015, The Global Citizen Academy has created unique student experiences for learners in Singapore and around the Asia-Pacific region. Our programs are designed to offer students engaging, innovative, and exciting educational experiences to hone their skills and gain knowledge outside the classroom. Through our in-person and virtual platforms, we strive to offer our students the very best in co-curricular education.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Global Citizen Academy is actively seeking experienced Enrichment Trainers who are passionate about fostering holistic development and empowering students from Primary to JC level. We are particularly interested in trainers specialised in delivering educational experiences in the following areas:


Sustainability Design Thinking Leadership Service Learning Journalism Creative Writing Public Speaking Motivational and Study Skills Personal Etiquette and Grooming
Trainers would work as a freelancer, should reside in Singapore and be MOE-eIRS certified trainers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct interactive and dynamic sessions, in classroom sizes ranging from 6 to 40 students, ensuring active participation and effective learning. Tailor teaching methods and content to accommodate the diverse learning needs and interests of students. Regularly track and monitor students' progress, ensuring effective learning and development. Perform the necessary administrative and operational work to ensure the effective running of the courses. Travel to different schools in Singapore to deliver on-site training programs, ensuring the accessibility and availability of enrichment training across the region.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Undergraduate Degree Preferred 1 year of relevant teaching/ mentorship experience MOE-eIRS certified trainer Good command of the English language, both written and verbal Strong communication skills (especially presentation and public speaking) Passionate about creative ideas and can express these ideas with clarity Professional and able to work independently * Passionate about teachin
