Position Overview



We are seeking an experienced and driven

General Manager / Sales Manager

to oversee the company's overall operations with a strong focus on business development, sales growth, and distribution management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in formulating strategies, leading the sales team, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth operations in the competitive food import and distribution sector.


Key Responsibilities



Develop and implement sales and business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Oversee day-to-day operations, including import, distribution, and supply chain management. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and deliver excellent customer service. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key clients. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify business opportunities. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, import/export requirements, and company policies. Manage budgets, P&L, and overall company performance. Report directly to company stakeholders and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Requirements



Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, or related fields. At least

8-12 years of proven experience

in food import, FMCG, or distribution industry, with at least

5 years in a managerial/leadership capacity

. Strong track record in sales management, business development, and operations oversight. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of import/export procedures, distribution channels, and food regulatory compliance. Results-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
