Job Description

$2500 + AWS + VB + allowance5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hoursLocation: NorthResponsibilities

• Carry out all preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance as directed by the Supervisor and complete work requests and orders from various stakeholders.
• Responsible for the planning and execution of all painting works in the plant, from maintaining sufficient inventory of paints and consumables, leading to successful completion of scheduled painting activities.
• Resolve work orders for any basic malfunctioning static and rotating equipment in and package units in the plant.
• Ensure minimum down time or timely repairs of production equipment including basic replacement of insulation and insulation systems.
• Ensure all plant valves are fully operational and all mechanical components properly grease and lubricated where applicable, including carry out, strip, redress and rebuild of various types of control and plant valves.
• Work closely with contracted or in-house pipe fitters, rotating equipment and package specialists and act as witnesses for hydro and pneumatic tests of various piping components, vessel and storage tanks.
• Report any deficiencies and maintain accurate records in the tracking systems used in the plant.
• Carry out basic material specification on all installed piping components such as gaskets and verify for wrong metals on flange bolts and will witness flange tensioning values by, when necessary.

Requirements

• NiTEC, in mechanical engineering with mechatronic or electromechanical or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Technical/Mechanical/Electrical industry is a plus
• Possess a Class 3 License.
