General Worker cum Storekeeper / Warehouse Assistant
Job Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming goods and materials.
Carry out storage, labeling, and proper organization of inventory within the warehouse.
Pick, pack, and issue goods for delivery or internal use according to instructions.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Ensure the warehouse, storage, and work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
Support general duties including moving items, ad hoc maintenance and repair work and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Assist in loading and unloading of goods from trucks, containers, and deliveries.
Follow safety regulations and proper handling procedures for goods and equipment.
Job Requirements
Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
Prior experience in warehouse/storekeeping is an advantage; training will be provided.
Physically fit and able to carry or move goods
Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse practices preferred.
Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys); forklift license is an advantage.
Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to perform simple maintenance and repair tasks when required.
