UWCSEA Dover
has a vacancy at its Dover Campus for a General Worker (Housekeeping) for hire immediately.
Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor - Housekeeping, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the office and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include but not limit to the following:
Main Responsibilities
Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floor
Cleaning of toilets, bedrooms, classrooms, offices, common areas etc.
Ensure outside walkways/ corridors/staircases remain clear and free of debris Inform supervisors of any defects/ repairs required
Assist with any other duties, tasks or jobs with similar levels of responsibility and complexity to the assigned job grade as may be reasonably requested by the line manager and/or the College
Person Specifications
GCE "O" Levels and below with at least 1 year relevant experience
Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team
Excellent organisational skill is a must
Self-motivated and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
