What requirements you\'ll need to be eligible

• Chartered Accountant, with an Accountancy Degree or ACCA
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in leadership position
• Strong communication skills, an analytical mind-set, problem solving abilities and a strong track record leading a team
• Ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for continuous improvement
• Experienced working with Senior Management
• Strong knowledge of FRS, tax and experience working with SAP
• Audit experience in a reputable accounting firm will be preferred

What you\'ll be doing on the job

• Lead the General Ledger function, including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Reporting and Compliance.
• Perform month-end close including review of journals entries, general ledger reconciliation, consolidation and monthly fluctuation analysis in accordance with the close calendar
• Cash management and treasury to ensure sufficiency of funds and maximization of returns
• Work with Compliance team to provide support on relevant MAS regulations as well as monitoring risk management policies and ensuring timely adherence to financial regulatory reporting schedules
• Ensure returns for corporate income tax, GST and withholding tax are filed on time and all relevant regulations are complied with
• Manage the internal and statutory audit to ensure timely completion
• Develop and enhance Finance policies and practices for business relevancy and efficiency
• Develop, implement and ensure compliance with Finance policies
• Participate and provide functional support in the roll out of new projects
• Manage and drive a high performing team, including to grow and develop their capabilities
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives
• Any other ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time
