Job Description

:

General Ledger (GL)

• Perform day-to-day posting of general ledger entries
• Perform full aspect of cost allocations, record accruals / prepayments, process reversals not limited to ad-hoc JV
• Perform period end closing activities and liaising with other teams as required

Quarterly GST Submission

• Prepare quarterly GST in Form 5

Audit and Compliance

• Ensure current processes, operations, systems, databases and information security are up to date and comply with proper accounting and legal principles/policies/procedures
• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities \xe2\x80\x93 ensure staff and information are available as required

Customer Service

• Deliver service excellence and maximize customer service and satisfaction
• Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders (external / internal customers, co-workers)
• Maintain professional attitude during service delivery and resolution of issues
• Ensure that service levels and targets are met as per Service Level Agreements

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovate solutions so the team can operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner

Qualifications:

• At least University degree or equivalent in a Finance & Accounting related field or equivalent professional qualification
• At least 5-7 years of experience in General Accounting (GA) function
• Experience in shared services center will be advantage
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Must have SAP knowledge
• Must be a strong team player with positive working attitude and good communication skills
• Work diligently and independently with minimum supervision
