Spotify's Global Agency & Account Team delivers innovative strategic partnerships for our Advertising clients to build trust, drive business outcomes, and improve long-term local market revenue. The team partners closely with global trading, regional and local sales, business marketing, category development, and of course our senior level global & regional partners at the Brands and their Agencies. We are skilled cross-functional collaborators, strong communicators and innovation drivers who operate with measurable results in mind.

We are looking for a highly motivated Singapore-based Global Account Lead to be responsible for our Global and JAPAC strategic partnerships with select Joint Business Partners (Advertisers) and their Agency teams. You will build and implement joint business plans, scaled initiatives, and Spotify-firsts that get results for our Advertising business and beyond.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all aspects of the symphony of C-Level and Mid-Level Spotify, Advertiser and Agency partnership team members for your assigned Global Joint Business Partner accounts
  • Own the development and implementation of the Global Joint Partner priorities for your named Global Joint Business Plan accounts, in collaboration with Global Holding Company Leads, Category Development, Global Trading, Sales and various other cross-functional partners
  • Strategically advise local market sales teams and cross-functional partners on Joint Business Plan Advertiser needs to open new paths for revenue growth, identify gaps, opportunities and share successes
  • Identify new markets and new opportunities for revenue growth across the named Global Joint Business Partners, especially in JAPAC and other international markets. Build an action plan to drive this revenue growth in partnership with our local market sales teams across the world
  • Lead our internal Spotify community of cross-functional partners supporting these Brands, so we can enhance our efforts for sophisticated global projects across the Spotify ecosystem
  • Evangelize Spotify and Spotify Advertising initiatives with global partnership partners at the Agency and Advertiser with the aim of keeping them our most-informed Spotify partners
  • Own internal and external global partnership communications, including cross-market updates, toolkits, partnership playbooks and reporting
  • Project leads the execution of scalable programs including education programs, data/insights workstreams, tool management and other cross-Spotify innovation-driven programs across the named Joint Business Partners accounts
  • Help informs future partnership development and innovation program initiatives as we continually grow and develop our team
Who You Are
  • 12+ years of Brand Advertising, Media Agency and/or Business Development experience
  • Strategic operator with a service approach
  • Excited about helping others drive success
  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness, which encourages positive energy and passion throughout the organization and with our external partners
  • Strong executive presence, expertly engaging key decision makers and C-level and mid-level executives, inside and outside of Spotify
  • Comfortable with working through ambiguity, with an expert ability to navigate sophisticated, matrixed organizations, demonstrating their ability to influence others and build trust
  • Passion for developing and delivering high-impact presentations and leading education programs for large audiences
  • Strong understanding of Spotify user behavior, product and targeting suite & the ability to translate technical or complicated ideas into ordinary and simple terms
  • Ability to travel internationally and work flexibly to accommodate New York City or London hours as needed
