Johnson & Johnson Global Brand Protection (GBP) Team is recruiting for a Global Brand Protection Investigation Manager, SEA to be based in Singapore.
The role of the Global Brand Protection Investigations Manager, SEA is responsible for the company's product security operational assignments that protect our patients from dangers of counterfeit and illicit medicines through proactive and intelligence-driven threat assessments, appropriate reactive handling of product security events, and successful completion of mitigation and enforcement actions in the [Region]. The Global Brand Protection function is primarily focused on the prevention and mitigation of the risks and impacts posed by the illicit trade of J&J Company products, as well as on the advancement of a safe and secure supply chain.
Summary:
The Investigations Manager reports to the GBP Director APAC, and will have a dotted line to the GBP Director, Product Security Investigation and Intelligence. This role is primarily responsible for assisting to prevent and mitigate the risk to patient/consumer safety and business value from counterfeiting and illicit trade of Johnson & Johnson products across the region and all J&J segments. The Investigations Manager also works closely with external agencies and vendors/partners to collect market intelligence, assess threats and vulnerabilities to J&J's supply chain, support investigations and enforcement activities targeting illicit traders, and generally improve J&J's ability to detect, deter and prevent counterfeit and illicit trade.
Key responsibilities:
The Investigations Manager will be responsible for developing, leveraging and implementing strategic initiatives primarily in, but not limited to the following areas:

  • Conduct/oversee proactive, intelligence-led brand protection investigations in the [Region].
  • Leveraging advanced intelligence tools to analyze counterfeiting and other illicit product exposures/threats and implement cost effective passive, reactive, and proactive investigative programs to address these exposures in the region.
  • Management and coordination of high volume and complex product security caseload with little oversight and assure completion and compliance with internal and external requirements within budget.
  • Oversight of investigative vendor relationships and accountable for efficient and highly effective delivery of product security investigative services.
  • Maintain close liaison with government, industry, investigative, and law enforcement professionals, with emphasis on the countries with most relevant risks, as it relates to product security.
  • Develop case reports and support criminal referrals of product security matters for submission to relevant law enforcement and regulatory agencies as well as cases for possible civil or administrative enforcement actions.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced investigative professional with a minimum of five (5) years of industry security experience or five (5) years of law enforcement criminal investigative experience or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with various functional areas such as brand protection, supply chain investigations, counterfeiting, market intelligence, and diversion. Understanding of global pharmaceutical supply chains and industry practices preferred.
  • Excellent research skills and OSINT analysis skills is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in development of proactive, intelligence-led investigations and successful criminal and civil enforcement actions is desirable.
  • Strong results-oriented mindset and ability to influence without formal authority while maintaining attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Ability to be innovative and independent and able to manage an aggressive workload in a highly matrixed environment; capable to make decisions in time-sensitive situations with limited information and competing demands.
  • Respect for cultural diversity within a global environment.
  • Proven experience in successful vendor management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as polished interpersonal skills. [Fluency in English is required. Additional South East Asian Language is preferred.
  • Preferred accreditations: ASIS Certified Protection Professional, Certified Professional Investigator, NAFC Certified Fraud Examiner

  • Up to 20% overnight international and domestic travel is required.
