Join us in shaping our future-and yours.What You Will DoThe Global Buyer Customs & Brokerage Services, Air & Ocean is responsible for:

• To support the development and execution of category practices for international transportation freight (Air, Ocean, Customs, Parcel, Dray, 4PL), including support of sourcing strategy definition, sourcing project execution and stakeholder alignment

• With strong category focus the International Transportation buyer drives and supports the execution of the sourcing projects and is the point of interaction between the Category Managers and the Deliver Operations team and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Aligns with stakeholders (ASPAC)

o Supports the Category Managers with the identification of suppliers, the initiation of the strategy development as well as execution of sourcing projectso Actively engages with stakeholders as defined in alignment with the Category Managers throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution processo Ensures that the input from the stakeholders is considered in the processo Prepares the stage gate documentation

• Supports sourcing

o Supports the Category Managers in the analysis and definition of the category spend baseline and category profile, incl. risk assessment and SRM strategy\xc2\xa7 Supports development of Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies in alignment with the Category Managers and ensures proper documentation\xc2\xa7 Provides support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process\xc2\xa7 Leads and assists in the development of Rfx\xc2\xa7 Supports preparation of supplier communication packages\xc2\xa7 Prepares fact-based negotiation packages\xc2\xa7 Supports preparation of implementation plan

• Performs sourcing management

o Performs Category Manager activities for global projects with a regional lens\xc2\xa7 Manages the procurement strategy implementation / sourcing execution for a global category with collaboration with other regions\xc2\xa7 Drives supplier performance by, for example, discussing lessons learned from one region and making sure that the supplier builds on those lessons learned to improve service levels in another regiono Executes end-to-end sourcing projects for less complex categories\xc2\xa7 Participates in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with Category Managers\xc2\xa7 Performs supplier selection and fact-based negotiations, validated by the Category Manager\xc2\xa7 Involves the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation and follow up, etc.\xc2\xa7 Conducts spend map analysis to monitor spend and ensure that all purchases follow the purchasing process\xc2\xa7 Continuously tracks forecasted vs. actual savings according to the Value Tracking Process for category in scope - defines corrective/optimization actions if needed and follows up on them (escalate to Category Manager, if needed)What We Are Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• The candidate must have a University Degree in a Major Discipline (ie. Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics)

• The candidate must be fluent, both written and speaking, in English

• Experience: 1-3 years\' professional experience in Transportation) or other related positions, preferably knowledge of category at hand and working in an international environment; good experience with supplier selection, negotiation and contracting area is necessary.

• Experience in contact negotiations and contract management.
