JOB SUMMARY:

This unique position will enable you to learn and experience the end-to-end processes that support Inventory Management and perform the day-to-day activities that support the KPI\'s and deliverables of each function. This is achieved by having a rotational role that moves through multiple functional areas, such as order management (order procurement & shipment tracking) and retail store allocation planning. This position also will participate and communicate with all cross-functional team members for their assigned categories for our Global business. In this role, you also will learn how to utilize our online data warehouse/reporting system to generate reports and perform analysis as needed. There is also potential to have a rotation into Merchandise Planning (sales & inventory forecasting) as part of the development journey for select candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Merchandise Planning (Development Track)

Pre-Season:

  • Assist Planners to analyze business performance, SKU productivity, trends and provide hind sights to identify opportunities and drive pre-season strategy and assortment plans
  • Assist to create Buy Request and passed to Order Management for PO placement
  • Execute Order Placement in Relex
  • Quarterly Data Pulling and Consolidation for Roll Up
  • Other administrative Ad hoc Task
In-Season:
  • Assist Planners in liaising with Order Management team on placement and tracking of Global purchase orders
  • Proactively and collaboratively address any shortcomings or opportunities to improve tools and processes
  • Weekly/ Monthly / Quarterly Data Pulling and Consolidation for Weekly Report and OTB
  • Development of key reports to support Planning in Business Review
Allocation
  • Learn, monitor, and manage retail allocation parameters and flow quantities to support promotional activity, high-seasonal holidays, markdown replenishment, and in-store events
  • Execute allocations to support Seasonal Floor Sets, Floor Model Counts, Perimeter/Bay-Count requirements by store group
  • Assist to manage the Weekly Allocation Flow report
  • Other Ad hoc Allocation Task
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidate must possess a min tertiary qualification.
  • Intermediate competency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is an advantage
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented with strong follow through
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skill
  • Strong ability to partner and collaborate with all stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced, collaborative environment
We are looking for 2 internship positions for the June to Dec 2023 period. Part-time schedule is available for negotiation.
