Job Description

We are seeking a Communications Officer, who is a great communicator, passionate about writing and storytelling, and who loves challenges and a fast-paced dynamic environment to join our Regional Internal Communications team. The role will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing regional internal communications plans. We are looking for a self-starter who can multi-task and has excellent interpersonal and project management skills.

This role is based in Singapore, reporting to Citi Asia Pacific's Regional Head of Internal Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communication and engagement strategies, including writing internal articles, newsletters, curating content for intranet sites and organizing town halls and employee sessions
  • Have specific responsibility for the regional employee newsletter, including managing the editorial line-up and working with business and local communications teams to edit and collate stories
  • Conceptualize and develop engaging content for a range of different tools and channels to reach a diverse workforce across our Asia Pacific region
  • Help manage record management for the team, as well as quarterly risk assessments
  • Manage some administrative duties for the team, including vendor management for external agencies
Requirements:
  • Fresh graduate or 1-2 years' experience in corporate communications
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, English Literature or Mass Communications
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English is a key requisite for the role
  • Passionate about storytelling and who loves writing, editing, and proofreading
  • A strong strategic thinker who is equally good at implementing and executing communications campaigns
  • A self-driven goal-oriented person with a "can-do" attitude, has an agile mindset and is comfortable with juggling multiple deadlines and expectations
  • A client-oriented individual who pays attention to detail and employs creativity in problem-solving in a multi-tasking and fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and as an individual contributor
  • Integrity, maturity, dependability, willingness to learn and a positive professional attitude
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
  • Skills in HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Adobe After Effects are a big plus
