Position Summary

The Global Sales Strategy & Execution Director is a critical role within the Sales & Account Management (SAM) organization. The function ensures that the SAM organization is fully equipped to execute on organized and well-defined sales strategies. These are aligned to key industry trends and our customers\xe2\x80\x99 business priorities and draw on the wide array of capabilities available via the LSEG Data & Analytics Platform. The team helps to drive sales productivity, efficiency and value to the customer; ultimately to help achieve our financial growth and retention performance goals.

Aligned to key customer communities and propositions the Sales Strategy & Execution team provides deep domain expertise, market experience and:

Partners with the global sales leadership and business owners to ensure systematic execution of global priorities and sales campaigns.

Plays a lead role in the BOT (Business Operating Team) as the principal interlock with Product teams to agree on key focuses, to escalate and resolve challenges.

Supports both the marketing and learning organizations in ensuring key programs and messages align to our customer engagement strategy and drive high quality, differentiated messages to the communities we serve.

Provides deep market and proposition domain expertise to large, complex and strategically important deals aligning buyer needs to LSEG Solutions.

Role Responsibilities

Ensure Sales & Account Management are equipped to execute on growth priorities.

Partner with horizontal Business Leadership team (Product, Enablement, Learning & Development and Marketing) to define sales and retention strategy leveraging a global campaign framework and ensure consistency of message, internally and externally.

Represent the voice of the customer to inform strategic planning and investment choices that inform product development and capital allocation.

Input into business investment cases including M&A opportunities and market sizing.

Plan & assess SAM readiness for product launches and product migration / sunsets.

Monitor performance and progress of proposition/customer segment aligned execution plans and own the ideation of how to change the outcome when off-track

Ensure marketing activities, including demand generation align to and support execution of plans/campaigns.

Partner with Learning & Development colleagues on certification pathways to support seller productivity.

KPIs: Net sales performance and Revenue \xe2\x80\x93 aligned to propositions and communities.

Qualifications and Experience Required

University degree: industry qualification, graduate degree preferred.

10 years+ commercial/management experience

Deep market domain expertise & experience of middle/back-office workflow preferably within a domain such as security services, portfolio management and valuations, or market risk management

Strong understanding of how the regulatory landscape is impacting financial markets, especially relating to capital frameworks such as Solvency II and Basel III (including FRTB)

B2B sales experience/exposure

Senior (c-level) network of customers, regulators, and market forums/associations

Demonstrate strong leadership skills including influencing at a high level and leading teams and stakeholders to achieve a common objective.

Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills

Experience of operating in a matrix organization, including stakeholder engagement and influencing management.

Demonstrate a blend of strategic and operational skills.

Proactive and execution focused.
