Job Description

This is a permanent role for the New Products team under OCBC Global Treasury Business Management. The primary role is to assist in the end-to-end delivery of a new product development process. This process includes upfront system development to product approval and launch.

• Work closely with the front office product owners to ensure product features and business requirements are clearly spelt out and aligned.
• Manage and co-ordinate the requirements of various support specialists from Group Operations & Technology, Group Risk Management, Group Finance, Group Legal & Regulatory Compliance to develop and launch new products.
• Conduct product presentation, discussion, and resolution of issues with support specialists and IT teams.
• Work with external vendors to develop new products features.
• Participate in UAT for system readiness.
• Document product booking and process for system implementation.
• Prepare write-up for product approval

• Education: University Degree. Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business preferred.
• Meticulous, quantitative, self-driven and willing and able to work under pressure.
• Experience in automation of processes, or development of products using any programming language.
• Familiar with derivatives operations, processing, accounting, and risk control
• Understand the workflow of the development and deployment of structured products.
• Willing to learn with positive attitude.
• Willing to work and share as a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem Solving Skills: ability to identify complex risks early and develop actionable mitigation plans.

• Good understanding of software design, implementation, and testing practices
• Good knowledge in either C++ or Python
• Strong Excel skills; VBA macros.
• Strong computer literacy; experience in treasury systems (e.g. Murex) a definite advantage
