About the role

Reporting to the Director Global HSW, the GM H&S Business Partnering (Global Ingredients and Foodservices) provides a best-in-class partnering service to the leaders and teams across the Global Ingredients (GI) and Global Foodservice (GF) business areas. Constantly reinforcing the notion of 'line-led, HSW-partnered', this role acts as the strategic support partner to members of the GI and GF Leadership Teams and leads a small global team of H&S professionals who provide support and enable continuous improvement in HSW performance.



This position can be based in any of our Southeast Asia locations and supports and enables strategic and transformative change in Health, Safety and Wellbeing leadership and climate; critical risk management and control monitoring; and systemic risk reduction and continuous improvement.



The role is also responsible for managing the health and safety aspects of the Co-op's international travel Standard and supporting effective oversight, management, and response to global events that have the potential to cause harm to Fonterra's people, such as geopolitical disruptions or natural disasters.

About You

You will have at least 5 years in a senior health and safety leadership role within a large complex and high-risk environment. Proven record of success in effective leadership of teams who provide H&S business partnering. A strong understanding of international health and safety regulatory regimes. Ideally you will have experience of leading global/multi-national teams while in a H&S leadership role. Demonstrated experience in strategic change management and able to develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans. Exceptional influencing skills and experience of strong engagement and influence with senior leaders and stakeholders.
